Real Madrid playmaker Isco has commented on the recent rumours linking him with a move to rivals FC Barcelona.
On Thursday, the Spanish international caused a massive stir on social media when he posted a picture of himself and freinds on Twitter – in front of him was a packet of Barca-branded chips, which fuelled rumours he will be leaving Los Blancos for the Catalan giants.
However, Isco quickly deleted the picture, and later took to Twitter, insisting that he was not thinking about joining his club's arch-rivals in the next transfer window.
"I'm not joining Barca, you annoying people!" Isco wrote on the social media outlet, as reported by the Daily Mail.
"This was a photo to say that we're going to beat them."
The 24-year-old added that he did not even eat any of the chips.
"By the way, I have not even tried them!" he added in a furthe tweet, seemingly to reassure Los Blancos fans.
Isco has made 32 appearances in all competitions for the Santiago Bernabeu side this season, scoring seven goals and assisting six further strikes.
