A former FC Barcelona player has opened up about his exit from the club, and revealed why he does not regret leaving the Spanish giants.
Marc Bartra, a product of Barca’s famous La Masia academy, joined German side Borussia Dortmund in the off season after spending 14 years with Blaugrana.
The Spaniard feels he made the correct decision to leave the club, insisting he is ready for the next step in his career.
"Now that I think about it, I do not regret leaving Barcelona," he told Rac1.
"It was very fulfilling being there, but I feel very excited at continuing to grow.
"There are many new things to learn, including a new language, and I almost do not have time to think because there are many league and cup games.
"For me, it was a difficult change; the most important I've made in my life and the best I've taken."
Bartra has so far impressed Dortmund fans in the three games he has played for his new club.
