FC Barcelona have been heavily linked with a Spanish striker in recent weeks. Did they accidentally leak the new signing's name on their website?
Valencia forward Paco Alcacer is said to have had his medical on Monday, ahead of joining the Spanish giants.
According to Marca, the striker passed his medical, and it could reportedly just be a matter of hours or days before the player is officially confirmed as the Blaugrana's newest signing.
However, the report also claimed that Alcacer was accidently announced as a Barca player on the club's official website on Monday, with the club giving fans a chance to win a jersey signed by the player.
The competition was quickly removed from the website, however, which could be because the club are yet to confirm the capture.
Alcacer has scored 43 goals and assisted a further 17 strikes in 124 matches for Valencia.
