Egypt manager Hector Cuper has claimed that Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah is wanted by Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 25-year-old has been in scintillating form for the Reds this season, leading to rumours his performances have caught the eye of Europe's elite.
The winger's national team manager has now said he has confirmation that Los Blancos is monitoring the Egyptian star closely.
"I've received confirmed news revealing Real Madrid's interest in Salah, but we won't accelerate these developments," the former Valencia coach told ON Sports TV.
"For me, he finds himself in an incredible situation at the moment."
Salah, who has played for the likes of Chelsea, Basel, Fiorentina and Roma previously, has made 22 appearances for Liverpool so far this season, scoring 17 goals and assisting a further five strikes.
