Barcelona defender Dani Alves is set to leave FC Barcelona once his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Brazil international’s agent, Dinorah Santana, says that his client is preparing for a summer exit from the Catalan club, and revealed that he is already close signing with an undisclosed club – adding that the contract ordeal has been tiring.
“We are close to signing for another club. We are in advanced talks,” he told Rac1.
“Dani is still available for Barcelona to keep hold of this summer, but he will not wait for them for much longer.
“People are trying to make Dani look like the bad guy in this situation and that's wrong. This situation is quite tiresome.”
The 31-year-old joined the Spanish giants in 2008 and made an immediate impact in defence, where he became a key figure, and has played 326 times for them - scoring 20 goals, assisting 87 for his teammates.
