Copa Del Rey

Result: Numancia 0-3 Real Madrid

Date: 04 January 2018

Venue: Los Pajaritos

Gareth Bale and Isco were on target to inspire Real Madrid to a 3-0 win over Numancia in the first leg of their Copa del Rey last 16 tie.

Los Blancos enjoyed a lot of the possession in the early stages although they struggled to carve out clear cut openings.

After a quiet spell in the half, Real squandered a golden chance in the 30th minute when Borja Mayoral fired over the crossbar from close range.

Five minutes later, Real were awarded a penalty when Lucas Vazquez was brought down. Bale stepped up and made no mistake from the spot, 0-1.

That proved to be the final chance of the half as Los Blancos went into the break leading by one goal.

In the 60th minute, Numancia were reduced to 10 men when Pape Diamanka was sent off for picking up a second yellow card.

Zinedine Zidane looked to add to the scoreline as he introduced Isco for Dani Ceballos with 15 minutes remaining in the half.

Numancia nearly leveled matters in the 77th minute through Perez, who rattled the corssbar with Kiko Casilla well beaten.

However, Los Blancos were awarded another penalty in the 89th minute when Vazquez was brought down once again. With Bale off the pitch, Isco stepped up and duly slotted home, 0-2.

Mayoral rounded off the scoring for Los Blancos in the third minute of stoppage time as the striker turned home Achraf Hakimi's cross.

Editor plz and Madrid as I always say has better quality than any team in Spain someone is highly benefiting from that but us we highly depended to Messi so Messi in the last two season didn't have highly compitant team so generaly if you take Messi Ronaldo out of el classico real has more players to win the contest
