Diego Costa scored on his return for Atletico Madrid as they defeated Lleida Esportiu 4-0 in the first leg of their Copa Del Rey Last 16 tie.
As expected, Diego Simeone made a number of changes which included leaving Antoine Griezmann on the bench along with new signing Diego Simeone.
Atletico dominated the opening exchanges of the first half but they found it tough to break down the home side's defence.
The deadlock was eventually broken in the 33rd minute when Diego Godin rose well to head home Yannick Carrasco's free-kick, 0-1.
Four minutes later, Atletico doubled their lead through Fernando Torres, who slotted home from close range after a fine passing move.
Atletico continued to push for more goals in the final 10 minutes of half, but they were unable to breach the Esportiu defence again.
After a quiet start to the second half, Esportiu nearly pulled a goal back in the 62nd minute but Molina's volley sailed inches over the crossbar.
Two minutwa later, Simeone introduced Griezmann and Costa for Angel Correa and Torres.
Costa made an immediate impact as he bagged Atletico's third goal in the 69th minute by turning Juanfran's cross.
Atletico were comfortably in-front and showed no urgency to bag another goal in the final 20 minutes.
The home side finished the encounter with 10 men after Marc Trilles was sent off after picking up his second yellow card of the game in the first minute of stoppage time.
A minute later, Griezmann rounded off the scoring for Atletico as the Frenchman's free-kick was deflected in by Radulovic, 0-4.
