Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has revealed that he would like to win another treble with Barcelona and match the efforts of Pep Guardiola in 2009.
The 44-year-old was asked whether he preferred to win La Liga or the Champions League in a press conference on Friday and replied that he wants to win both, as well as the Copa Del Rey.
“I want to win the lot. How many? Let's see, let's see if we win anything at all,” he told Marca.
“We are now approaching the business end of the season, straight knock-out games, the cup semi-final and important league games. We go into them on great form.”
The Spaniard went on to discuss his team’s current winning streak which now stands at 11 straight games won, which equals the best streak achieved by Pep Guardiola at his peak, and revealed what his team’s approach to each game.
“This excellent run of results motivates us and boosts our confidence,” he added. “It also has an effect on the opposition. They'll definitely be motivated against one of La Liga's big guns.
“We have the same objective every game. To create a lot of chances and allow the opposition as few as possible.”
Luis Enrique has now won 31 matches from 37 matches in charge of Barcelona, since taking up his role at the beginning of July 2014.
