FC Barcelona icon Andres Iniesta set an amazing La Liga record in his club's 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night.
The Spaniard has been one of the Catalan club's most consistent players over the years, and against Atletico he popped up with a cross for Ivan Rakitic's headed goal.
Iniesta's assist means he has now set up at least one goal in each of the past 14 La Liga campaigns – a new record for the league.
The Spaniard is recognised as not only one of his club's best players, but one of the world's best midfielders too.
Iniesta was something of a late bloomer as he only started playing regularly for the Blaugrana's first team when he was 24 years old, but since establishing himself in the side, he has gone on to reach incredible heights.
The 32-year-old has won eight La Liga titles, four Copa del Reys, and four UEFA Champions League trophies.
He is also a stalwart of the Spanish national team, and has one two European Championships and one FIFA World Cup with La Furia Roja.
