Andres Iniesta Denies Barca Board's Deal Claims
FC Barcelona stalwart Andres Iniesta has denied claims made by club president Josep Maria Bartomeu that he has agreed a new contract.
The 33-year-old has entered the final year of his current contract at the Camp Nou and is reportedly "considering his future" at the Spanish giants.
Earlier this week, Bartomeu apparently told reporters that a new deal with Iniesta had been agreed, a claim the Spaniard has denied.
"Can I confirm the beginning of a renewal agreement with Bartomeu? No, I cannot," Iniesta told Diario Sport.
"There is no truth to that."
The Spain international has been linked with a move to Serie A giants Juventus in recent days, a move which may see him prolong his playing career.
Iniesta joined Barcelona's youth academy from Albacete back in 1996 and has made 626 official first-team appearances for the Blaugrana.
