The likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have had fans on their edge of their seats since bursting on the scene, but not even they are among the eight names of players to have a World Cup, Champions League and Ballon d’Or.
The Portuguese and Argentine could enter this exclusive group of stars if they are to triumph in Russia next year, as they have already both tasted Ballon d’Or and UCL success.
The first player to achieve this feat was Manchester United legend Bobby Charlton, who won the World Cup in 1966, the Ballon d’Or in the same year, while he lifted the UCL trophy in the 1967/68 season.
Italy icon Paolo Rossi celebrated winning the World Cup and Ballon d’Or in 1982, while he won Europe’s biggest club competition in the 1984/85 campaign.
French legend Zinedine Zidane is also among the names, as well as Rivaldo, Kaka and former FC Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho.
The ex-Blaugrana man lifted the World Cup with Brazil in 2002, won the Ballon d’Or in 2005, while he won the UCL in the 2005/06 season.
Other names included in the list are Germany legends Gerd Muller and Franz Beckenbauer, who won the World Cup together in 1974.
