Prior to his anticipated return to AC Milan, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic had plenty to say about Cristiano Ronaldo’s 2018 move to Juventus from Real Madrid. The Swede appears to have thrown a jab his way again, this time using Lionel Messi’s name.

The 38-year-old has never been one to mince his words, having previously taken Ronaldo to task for his comments about Juventus being a new challenge for him.
Ibrahimovic, who has represented Juventus, Inter Milan and the Rossoneri in Italy, said he did not feel the Portuguese forward was challenging himself by joining the Bianconeri, as they were a team who had won seven consecutive titles before his arrival.
Now, having completed a return to Milan, the Swede has once again taken a dig at the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, after a journalist was believed to ask him if he was ready to compete with the "world’s best player" in Ronaldo.
In rather typical fashion, Ibrahimovic reportedly responded by asking: "Since when did Messi come to Italy?" according to RT.com.
The former Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United striker was once a teammate of the Argentine’s, spending the 2009/10 season with him at Spanish giants FC Barcelona.
Upon his return to Italy, Ibrahimovic will be hoping to add to his tally of 122 goals and 46 assists in Serie A, having played a total of 219 matches for three clubs.
