Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta has admitted that he would be interested in moving to the Serie A - with Fiorentina his preferred destination.
The Argentina international joined City from Espanyol back in 2008 and has established himself as one of the best full-backs in the league.
His superb performances for the league runners-up saw him included in the Premier League Team of the Season in the last campaign.
Despite enjoying success with the Citizens in both the English Premier League and the FA Cup during his time with the club, Zabaleta admits that he would like to test himself in Italy at some point.
"Serie A is a major championship in which I'd like to play one day," he told Sportitalia.
"Juventus, Inter and AC Milan are important clubs but I think Fiorentina are a very interesting team.
"I don't know why but I have always liked Fiorentina since [Gabriel] Batistuta played there."
