Former Manchester City and FC Barcelona star Yaya Toure is said to have blown his chance of ending his career in Brazil after a potential transfer comically fell through in a shock double U-turn.

After pulling out of the potential transfer, the 36-year-old then changed his mind again at the last minute, but his latest U-turn ended with the South American club pulling the plug on the move.
According to the Daily Mail, the ex-Citizen had gone back on his decision to reject signing for Botafogo just 24 hours later, but found out the deal was no longer possible and that the Brazilian side were closing in on former Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel instead.
The African icon left Chinese club Quingdao Huanghai in December, and is yet to find his next club.
