Having been without a club since January, former FC Barcelona and Manchester City superstar Yaya Toure has announced his next move, but there appears to be a large twist in the tale.
A presidential candidate for Vasco da Gama in Brazil, Leven Siano, has promised supporters that if he wins the election, he will bring the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations winner to the club.
In his announcement video, Siano included words from the 37-year-old midfielder himself, who reportedly said, "I want to thank Leven for including me in this project," according to the Union Journal.
"I can hardly wait to see all the Vasco fans very soon. It is going to be Vasco."

The historical Brazilian club is set to hold its first-ever elections this year, with the date yet to be determined.
Leven also added: "Welcome, Mr Yaya Toure. Thank you for trusting in our project for Vasco da Gama. It's going to be Vasco!"
The news might surprise Vasco's rivals Botafogo, who were reportedly close to sealing the former Ivory Coast international's signature earlier this year following his exit from Qingdao Huanghai in China.
