Barcelona midfielder Xavi believes that new boy Neymar is destined to make a difference at the Spanish giants.
The Brazilian was the standout player at the recent Confederations Cup in his home country, where he helped his side to victory over Spain in the final.
Neymar enjoyed his first outing in a Barca shirt in their 2-2 friendly draw with Lechia Gdansk, where he made a late cameo, but Xavi believes that the 21-year-old will shine alongside Lionel Messi.
"Neymar is destined to make the difference," the Spain midfielder told reporters.
"He's got lightning pace and scores goals. Having Leo, Neymar and all the other players is sure to help us each improve on an individual level.
"Great players bring out the best in each other. I'm certain Neymar will be better alongside Leo and Leo will be better alongside Neymar.
"We'll try to help him adapt, make him happy and get the best out of him to play like he has done for Brazil."
Xavi also weighed in on speculation around teammate Cesc Fabregas, with Manchester United having revealed their interest in the midfielder.
"He's quite relaxed. He's under contract and everything else is speculation. He's working with the group and is up to speed and very motivated," he added.
"They're just rumours. We'll see what happens, but he's relaxed and ready for the coming season with Barcelona."
