It was a high scoring night in UEFA Champions League as 27 goals were scored across eight group games while Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich all maintained their 100 per cent win record.
Manchester United were able to sneak a 1-0 win over Real Sociedad thanks to an own goal from Inigo Martinez in the second minute of the match. United dominated the game, but their finishing in front of goal was poor and they were made to sweat in the dying seconds of the game. The win does see them at the top of Group A with seven points from their three matches.

United, though, are closely followed by Bayern Leverkusen who are on six points after their emphatic 4-0 win over Shakhtar Donetsk on the same night largely thanks to a brace from Stefan Kiessling.
Real Madrid confirmed their dominance in Group B with a 2-1 win over Juventus on Wednesday night. A Cristiano Ronaldo brace saw them to their third win from three Champions League matches as they top the group on nine points, five clear of second placed Galatasaray who beat Copenhagen 3-1 on the night as well.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was in superb form for PSG, scoring four goals in his side’s impressive 5-0 win over Anderlecht. PSG were at their best and maintained their 100 per cent win record which sees them on nine points from their three matches, five points clear of their closest rivals Olympiacos who drew 1-1 with Benfica on the night.
Sergio Aguero managed to score a brace as Manchester City registered their second win of their Champions League campaign, coming from a goal behind to beat CSKA Moscow 2-1. The result saw them up to second in the group with six points, three points adrift of Bayern Munich who were unforgiving in their 5-0 thumping of Viktoria Plzen on the night.
