With the Champions League final set to light up Wembley later today, scenes in London turned nasty when fans from the two German clubs were seen fighting.
A video shows hundreds of fans from Bayern Munich meet a similar number of Borussia Dortmund fans. Fighting broke out when rocks were thrown and more than 30 fans began to brawl in a courtyard while a gathering crowd looked on.
In a country infamous for its football hooligans and violence, the police presence on the day of the final was non-existent. The police were nowhere to be seen as the fight continued for almost two minutes. Eventually several unarmed security officers came in to break up the fight.
Today is the first time two German teams will face each other in a Champions League final. There are more than 80,000 German fans expected to be in London for the showpiece event.
