Upsets Aplenty In FA Cup

Queens Park Rangers 2-4 MK Dons: QPR will be able to fully focus on Premier League survival after crashing to a shockdefeat to League One MK Dons. The hosts were behind to an Armand Traore own goal early on before conceding three more goals as Dons raced out of sight. Ryan Lowe doubled the lead before setting up Ryan Hartley with Darren Potter netting a fourth. Jay Bothroyd and Fabio scored late on for the hosts with what were mere consolation goals.

Norwich City 0-1 Luton Town: Scott Rendell's late goal sent Premier League outfit Norwich city crashing out of the FA Cup. Luton Town are the first non-league team since 1989 to knock a top-flight side out of the FA Cup.

Hull 0-1 Barnsley: The home side dominated the first half only to go down by a single goal as Chamionship strugglers Barnsley responded strongly to record their first away Cup win for five years. Chris Dagnall got the crucial goal to see his side into the fifth round of the competition.

Derby 0-3 Blackburn: Colin Kazim-Richards got the visitors up and running and they built on that first half goal as they cruised into the fifth round via a rather convincing margin.  Scott Dann volleyed in a second and Jordan Rhodes made it three to send the home side crashing out.

Huddersfield 1-1 Leicester: Chris Wood earned Leicester a fourth-round replay with a late equaliser after Lee Novak had put the home side ahead from the penalty spot.

Macclesfield 0-1 Wigan: Wigan were made to work hard by their non-league opponents as they hung on for the win after Jordi Gomez’s penalty early in the game.

Middlesbrough 2-1 Aldershot: Lukas Jutkiewicz scored the winning goal for Middlesbrough late in stoppage time to send them through to the fifth round of the FA cup. Jutkiewicz had given Boro the lead with eight minutes to go but League Two Aldershot levelled through Danny Hylton before going down to the late winner.

Reading 4-0 Sheffield United: Reading cruised into the fifth round of the FA Cup as Noel Hunt scored twice to guide them to a win over the Blades.Hunt nodded in from close range before midfielder Mikele Leigertwood doubled the lead before half time.Hunt increased the margin before Garath McCleary capped off the scoring.
