UEFA Nations League
Teams: Portugal vs Italy
Date: 10 September 2018
Venue: Estadio da Luz
Time: 20:45
The Portuguese were drawn in Group 3 in League A along with Poland and 2006 FIFA World Cup winners Italy.
Fernando Santos' men go into this encounter on the back of a 1-1 draw with Croatia in a friendly last Thursday.
This clash against Italy will be Portugal's first competitive fixture since their exit from Russia 2018 at the hands of Uruguay, and all eyes will be on how they can cope without their talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Italy, however, have already played a game in the competition, which ended all square with Poland courtesy of a late penalty from Chelsea's Jorginho.
It has been 25 years since these two teams last faced each other in a competitive fixture, while their latest meeting was a friendly that Portugal won 1-0 back in 2015.
Here's how they line up:
Portugal: Rui Patrício; Cancelo, Pepe, Rúben Dias, Mário Rui; Carvalho, Neves; Bernardo, Pizzi, Bruma; André Silva.
Italy: Donnarumma, Lazzari, Caldara, Romagnoli, Criscito, Cristante, Jorginho, Bonaventura, Zaza, Immobile, Chiesa.
