The coronavirus outbreak that has forced football in most parts of the world to be halted has thrown many clubs into economic trouble, but it has also given them time to prepare for the 2020/21 campaign.
In Coutinho's case, the Brazilian is strongly tipped to return to the Premier League, although his former team Liverpool do not seem to be an option. Most reports suggest that Chelsea are the favourites to land to his signature, but it is unclear at this point if the playmaker's move to London would be a permanent one.
Barcelona reportedly want to raise funds that would help them sign one or two established players in the coming window, and could look to sell Coutinho for this reason. However, according to The Athletic, Lionel Messi and other senior Blaugrana players would rather see the club get rid of Ousmane Dembele instead.
As for Bale, Los Blancos are said to be looking to get him off their books in the next window, with both United and Tottenham Hotspur believed to be interested in securing his signature.
Over to Barcelona, where the Spanish champions are still interested in bringing Neymar back to the club. The Paris Saint-Germain forward might not be a realistic target for the Blaugrana, though, especially as they appear to be more invested in signing Lautaro Martinez from Inter Milan.
The Catalans would seemingly have to sell too many players in order to make the Brazilian's return happen as it is understood that they simply cannot afford the 28-year-old at this time, especially after the financial strain the COVID-19 outbreak has caused them.
Lastly, the Daily Express has reported that Juventus would be willing to offer United Aaron Ramsey in a swap deal for Pogba, although it is also believed that Inter manager Antonio Conte has also expressed his interest in the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.
