Despite being heavily linked with Real Madrid, Pogba has played a positive role in United's pre-season so far, with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer recently saying he was not upset by the player's comments that he is open to a new challenge.
The club is still believed to be trying to keep the Frenchman at Old Trafford, although that may very well depend on Gareth Bale's future at Los Blancos.
The 30-year-old is no longer wanted by the Spanish giants, who might be hoping to use the funds they could make from his potential sale to sign the Red Devils midfielder. Bale and manager Zinedine Zidane are believed to be on totally different pages, with the manager recently admitting the club is working hard to move the player on as soon as possible.
In Neymar's case, the Brazilian has finally joined up with Paris Saint-Germain's squad for pre-season, although his stance has not changed. PSG are aware that he wants to leave and are willing to let him go, but only for the right price, according to their sporting director Leonardo.
However, discussions over his potential return to Barca have seemingly slowed down, perhaps because of Atletico Madrid's complaint to LaLiga that the Catalans still owe them another €80 million (R1.2 billion), on top of the €120 million (R1.8 billion) that was already paid, to secure Antoine Griezmann's signature.
Barca might be waiting to hear the outcome of the case before they push on with their reported interest in Neymar, simply due to the club not having the funds to afford both the Brazilian and the €80 million penalty.
Los Blancos midfielder Rodriguez is believed to have returned to training with the LaLiga giants, although Napoli are still reportedly chasing his signature, while Ivory Coast and Lille winger Nicolas Pepe might arrive at his next club soon.
The winger is said to be close to joining the Red Devils, although he has also been linked with a number of other top sides across the continent.
