Bayern Munich midfielder, Toni Kroos, has reportedly told friends he wants to join David Moyes’ transformation at Manchester United.
According to English media, Kroos has told his friend that he would rather start and be the main man at Old Trafford than sit behind Bastian Schweinsteiger and Thiago Alcantara at Bayern Munich.
The 24-year-old has only one year left on his contract and his negotiations over an extension have been stalled after the club and Kroos were not able to agree on the demanded terms.
The Bayern midfielder is reportedly unhappy with the salary offer by the Bavarians and Man United seems to be prepared to offer him a £200.00-a-week.
Despite only one year left on his contract, the transfer could cost United around £40m because Real Madrid have reportedly also entered the chase for the German international.
Bayern want to keep the player, who joined their youth ranks in 2007 and has been impressive throughout the last two campaigns, but also indicated that no one is replaceable at the club.
Kroos appeared to be arguing with Pep Guardiola follwing his substitution in the first leg against Man United, but is set to start in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday.
