Thierry Henry To Take Over African Giants In First Heading Coach Job?

Arsenal legend and Belgium assistant coach Thierry Henry, who is yet to take on a head coaching job, has reportedly had talks with an African giant, who would like him to become their new national manager.

Reports: Ex-Real & Barca Stars Linked With African Giants

The former Premier League striker, who stepped down from a lucrative role as a television pundit last month, was recently linked with the Aston Villa job, but the Championship club eventually decided to back their current boss Steve Bruce instead.

According to former Zamalek goalkeeper Nader El-Sayed, who is now an agent, Henry has spoken to Egypt about the prospect of becoming their next head coach, but will only decide once he knows what the development plans for the team are.

"We had a meeting with Thierry Henry's agent in London, and Hazem Emam (a board member of the Egyptian Football Association) was present," the former shot-stopper said, as quoted by King Fut.

"Henry is waiting for the EFA's project for the team before deciding on the offer, apart from the economic aspect."

10 Stars Who Could Still Leave The EPL In This Window

Former Pharoahs boss Hector Cuper stepped down as manager after the team failed to make it out of the group stage at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Salah is the only reason that is attracting Henry to Egypt. Why not give our own Egyptian legends the role
