Ronaldo currently sits at the summit of the top goalscorer chart in Italy's top flight, with 19 goals in 25 Serie A matches.
With the Portugal captain considered to be one of the best attackers in the history of the game, it is perhaps no surprise that he leads a ranking to that effect recently compiled by FourFourTwo.
However, with the list focusing solely on out-and-out strikers who are regularly deployed in the centre-forward position, his longstanding rival Lionel Messi was not considered.
Overall, FFT's top 10 strikers in the world is dominated slightly by players from the Premier League, which has three repesentatives, while Laliga, Ligue 1 and Serie A each have two entries, and Poland's Robert Lewandowski is the only representative from the Bundesliga.
With Ronaldo being top of the pile, he is followed by Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane and Manchester City's Sergio Aguero, who scored two hat-tricks for his club in February.
Despite only being 20 years of age, Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe, who was awarded the Best Young Player Award at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, is also in the top 10, ahead of LaLiga duo Antoine Griezmann and Luis Suarez.
Other strikers on the list include an Inter Milan talisman who was recently stripped of his club's captaincy, and a South American striker who plays alongside Mbappe in France's top flight – click through the gallery above to see the top 10 forwards in the world, according to FFT!
