AC Milan have revealed that they have reached an agreement with Manchester City for the transfer of striker Mario Balotelli.
Super Mario has been surrounded by controversy during his time with both City and Inter Milan, and it had been suggested that the Premier League champions were keen to move the player on.
The move comes at a reported price of around GBP 20 million which will be spread over five years. The player himself is expected to take a pay cut to complete the move.
Balotelli revealed during his time with Inter that he was actually a Rossonerri fan, and the Italian giants have long been linked with the Italy international.
Milan revealed via their Twitter account that "Balotelli's medicals will take place (on Wednesday) at Busto Arsizio and Milanello", and that his first training session with his new teammates would happen on Thursday.
City are yet to announce the deal with reports claiming that they were holding out for a fee of GBP 22 million.
Balotelli reportedly said goodbye to his City teammates as well as the staff at their training session on Monday morning.
