It was an exciting Sunday in the Spanish La Liga with 16 goals scored across four games with Almeria, Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona all winning.
The first game of the day was probably the least entertaining as Almeria ran out 1-0 winners over Getafe.
A single headed goal from Jonathan Zongo gave Almeria the win that saw them up to 15th on the league table with 22 points from 21 games.
Getafe are three places and three points better off than Almeria in 12th place on 24 points.
In the most dominate display of the day Bilbao ran out convincing 5-1 winners over a ten-man Osasuna following the 67th minute sending off of Alejandro Arribas.
Bilbao have Aritz Aduriz largely to thank for the victory after he found a brace in the win that saw the club up to 42 points on the league table in fourth place, five points ahead of fifth placed Villarreal.
Atletico Madrid walked to an expected victory over second from bottom Rayo Vallecano thanks to goals from David Villa, Diego Costa and a brace from Arda Turan which saw them win 4-2.
The win took Atletcio to the top of the table for a couple of hours on 54 points before Barcelona returned to the summit of the La Liga log for the 59th week in a row after a 3-0 win over Malaga.
Goals from Gerard Pique, Pedro Rodriguez and Alex Sanchez handed Barcelona their 17th win of the league season.
The loss for Malaga sees them remain in 16th place on the table on 21 points.
