Liverpool forward Luis Suarez has poured cold water on suggestions that he would be open to a summer move to join Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich.
The Uruguay international has consistently underlined that he is not interested in leaving the Merseyside club.
However, the rumours persist with the latest linking him to the German powerhouse – which former Barcelona boss Guardiola will manage as of next season.
Suarez acknowledged that it would be an under to play under Guardiola but that he had no intention of swapping Anfield for the Allianz Arena.
"We all know how important Guardiola is and the many things he won at Barcelona. He must know a thing or two about football," the controversial striker said.
"But if I'm being honest, I don't ever stop to read what is being said about me in the press - it would drive me mad as I'm linked to so many clubs.
"The day a concrete offer comes for me to the club, we will sit down and do what's best for everyone.
"But I'm happy here. The Premier League is the best league there is.
"I watch a lot of football in my spare time but the most attractive for me is English football - I want to stay here. I'm very happy here."
