Real Madrid will travel across town to the Vicente Calderon in the return leg of the Spanish Supercopa match against rivals, Atletico Madrid.
The first leg finished 1-1 after James Rodriguez scored his first goal for the Los Blancos in the 81st minute, and Raúl García grabbed a late equalizer only six minutes later.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been confirmed fit and will start for Real Madrid, while Arda Turan will definitely miss the match for the reigning La Liga Champions.
Real have gone 15 years without defeat in Atletico’s stadium and will be hoping to continue that run in the Calderon tonight, where an away goal is vital to their cause.
Atletico are likely to sit back and focus on defending with a goalless draw being all they need to lift their first trophy trophy this season, but keeping Real’s frontline at bay is easier said than done.
Real will play in a 4-3-3 formation while Atletico will line up in a 4-4-2 and Real Madrid are likely to dominate possession after achieving a figure of 70% in the first encounter.
The return leg will likely go down to the wire and could end 1-1 in 90 minutes, after both previous matches between the two teams ended like that. If this does happen, the match will go into extra time.
The game starts at 22:30 tonight at the Vicente Calderon.
Here's how they line up:
Atletico Madrid: Moya, Juanfran, Miranda, Godin, Siquiera, Tiago, Gabi, Koke, Raul Garcia, Griezmann, Mandzukic
Real Madrid: Casillas, Varane, Ramos, Coentrao, Carvajal ,Kroos, Alonso, Modric, Bale, Rodriguez, Benzem
