Tottenham Hotspurs failed to climb the English Premier League table after a goal from Erikson was cancelled out by Olsson as Spurs played to a 1-1 draw against West Brom on Boxing Day.
Spurs controlled the possession stakes early on, but struggled to create openings on goal due to the stubborn West Ham defence.
The first real opening on goal came in the 15th minute after a shot from Vydrae was superbly saved by Lloris.
Four minutes later Vydra was on the attack again as he got behind Dawson, but the goalkeeper was quickly off his line to deny the striker in a one-on-one situation.
In the 36th minute Eriksen broke the deadlock with a superb free-kick, his strike finding the top corner of the goal from 24-yards out, 1-0.
West Brom, however, were not to be outdone and hot back two minutes later after a goalmouth scramble inside the Spurs’ box fell to Ollson, who react quickest and stabbed the ball home to level scores going into the half time break, 1-1
The second 45 saw neither side press forward too much in attack.
The best chance on goal in the second half came in the 66th minute as Walker let loose from 30-yards out, but he saw hi effort well-saved by Foster.
In the end neither side could find the winner as the match ended all square and the points were shared.
