Goals from Roberto Soldado, Moussa Dembele and Aaron Lennon secured a 3-0 victory for Tottenham Hotspur over Stoke City at White Hart Lane.
Spurs move up to seventh in the table, while Stoke will end 2013 in 12th position.
Thomas Sorensen produced the first save of the game in the 14th minute to deny Christian Eriksen, after some good build up play by the home side.
A Minute later Spurs came close to opening the scoring as an instinctive flick by Paulinho played in Roberto Soldado, who volleyed just wide.
Roberto Soldado put Spurs ahead in the 36th minute from the penalty spot, after Emmanuel Adebayor's volley struck Ryan Shawcross' arm in the area.
Charlie Adam had Stoke's first strike at goal in the 54th minute but his free-kick from 30 yards went just wide.

It was all Spurs in the second half, and with 62 minutes gone, Eriksen had an effort from 20 yards out but Sorensen did well to get down to his right.
Dembele doubled Spurs' lead in the 64th minute, the Belgian did well shift past Steven N'Zonzi before smashing past Sorensen from 20 yards out.
Aaron Lennon got the home side's third four minutes later, with a fine dipping volley, after collecting a long pass from Soldado.
Peter Crouch was denied by Hugo Lloris in the 83rd minute, after a cross from Jermaine Pennant's cross from the right was met by Crouch, Lloris did comfortably dealt with the striker's header.
