Spanish starlet, Luis Alberto, is weighing up his options ahead of next season.
Liverpool have made a bid to sign the talented 20-year-old attacking midfielder from Sevilla.
Alberto spent last season on loan at Barcelona B, but the Blaugrana have opted not to exercise their right to sign him on permanently.
It is now up to the player and Sevilla to decide if he has future at the Sanchez Pizjuan, or if they should accept Liverpool’s reported £6 million bid.
Alberto himself is yet to decide where he would prefer to play next season.
"Nothing is decided," he told El Mundo Deportivo.
"All I know now is that I'm player of Sevilla.
"I cannot say anything more as I don't know and that is the truth. At the moment I am calm and thinking about my holidays."
Meanwhile, Liverpool are close to announcing the signing of Celta Vigo star, Iago Aspas, for a reported £7.7 million.
Aspas has undergone a medical on Merseyside, but a paperwork delay has held up his official transfer to the Reds.
However, his brother and agent, Jonathan Aspas, told Radio Galega: “There should be no problems [finalising the move to Liverpool]. Now only bureaucratic issues remain unresolved.”
Once the deal for Aspas- who says he is “excited” to play for Liverpool- is wrapped up, Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is expected to step up his chase for Sporting Lisbon’s highly-rated young centre-back Tiago Iiori, as well as Shakhtar Donetsk’s Armenia international attacking midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
