Shinji Kagawa is set to quit Manchester United after reportedly agreeing terms with his former club Borussia Dortmund.
Dortmund are understood to have bid between £8 to £10 million for the 25-year-old as Louis van Gaal seems happy to let him go.
The Dutchman confirmed in the beginning of the week that Kagawa doesn’t want to buy in into his football philosophy and refused to adapt to play in a holding midfield role.
Reports in German media claim today, the Japanese international has now accepted a contract offer from Dortmund and is set to move back to his former club in the coming days.
United bought Kagawa for around £15 million in 2012 but he only started in 31 Premier League games in two years and never adapted to his new club.
Valancia are reportedly also interested in the Japanese and the Spanish side are linked with Kagawa teammate, Tom Cleverly as well.
Both Valencia and Aston Villa are reported to have submitted an £8 million bid for Cleverley, while Everton are also monitoring the situation of the 25-year-old.
