It was an exciting Sunday in the Italian Serie A with 19 goals scored across seven games as Juventus, Atalanta, Catania, Verona and Roma all won their respective matches.
The early afternoon game saw Juventus in action against Torino and they have Paul Pogba to thank for their win as he scored the game’s only goal.
Elsewhere, German Denis was the hero for Atalanta after he scored a brace in their 2-0 win over Udinese, which was only their second victory of the season thus far.
Catania won their first game of the Serie A season by the same scoreline, beating Chievo thanks to goals from Jaroslav Plasil and Lucas Castro.
Verona jumped above Livorno in the league table into seventh place after beating them 2-1. Jorginho scored the winning goal for Verona from the penalty spot.
Roma maintained their 100 percent win record and top the Serie A table with 18 points from their six games after thumping Bologna 5-0 in the late match on Sunday. Gervinho was the standout player for Roma and grabbed a brace in the game.
Inter Milan still remain unbeaten, but will be upset after dropping points in a 1-1 draw with Cagliari.
Lazio also disappointed after drawing 2-2 with bottom of the table Sassuolo.
