Napoli 4-0 Livorno: Napoli rumbled to a comfortable win over Livorno. After a disappointing outing in the UEFA Champions League, Rafa Benitez's men responded with aplomb. Goran Pandev, Gokhan Inler, Jose Callejon and Marek Hamsik were all on target.
Sampdoria 2-2 Torino: Gianluca Sansone put the hosts ahead but Circo Immobile equalised and Alessi Cerci slotted a 76th minute penalty to turn the game around. Samp refused to give in though and Citadin Eder scored from the spot in stoppage time to secure a point.
Udinese 2-0 Cagliari: Goals in each half from Danilo and Antonio Di Natale proved to be enough as the hosts claimed all three points.
Bologna 1-4 Hellas Verona: The home side were stunned by Hellas who struck through Fabrizio Cacciatore, Juan Manuel Iturbe, Luca Toni and Jorginho Frello. Alessandro Diamanti had scored a consolation goal from the spot in the 52nd minute.
Parma 3-1 Sassuolo: The 10-men of Parma were able to deal with promoted Sassuolo on Sunday. Raffaele Palladino had put the hosts ahead before Antonio Mirante was sent off and Domenico Berardi equalised from the spot on the stroke of half-time. Aleandro Rosi and Antonio Cassano struck for the home side though before the visitors saw Francesco Magnanelli sent off.
Catania 1-1 Genoa: Catania thought that they had done enough to secure a win thanks to Pablo Barrientos' 59th minute goal but a Nicola Legrottaglie own goal with three minutes left on the clock saw the spoils shared.
Lazio 0-0 Fiorentina: Neither side was able to break the deadlock as they had to settle for a point each.
