Cagliari 2 – 2 Sampdoria: In an entertaining 90 minutes of football, three goals were score in the last two minutes of normal time. The home side took the lead in the 26th minute through Albin Ekdal, before a dramatic last few minutes saw Manolo Gabbiadini equalise in the 89th minute for the visitors, Daniele Conti reclaiming the lead and a minute later Lorenzo De Silvestri equalised to grab a point away from home.
Chievo Verona 2 – 1 Udinese: The visitors made a dream start scoring in the first minute of the game through Maicosuel, before the home team struck back scoring twice in the first half, equalising in the 13th minute by a Sergio Pellissier effort and then the winner in the 40th minute through Luca Rigoni.
Genoa 0 – 0 Livorno: Serie A’s only other Saturday match ended in a goalless stalemate, with the home team having most of the possession but unable to find a winner. The visitors did have chances but nothing clear cut and at the end of the 90 minutes both teams would settle for a point.
