South African international forward, Thulani Serero, has been linked with a move to English Premier League club Fulham.
The 23-year-old currently plays for Dutch champions Ajax Amsterdam, where he has been struggling to cement a regular starting berth for a number of seasons.
According to reports, Serero’s former manager at the Amsterdam Arena, Martin Jol, is keeping tabs on him.
Jol is under pressure at Fulham, who are mired in the Premier League drop zone.
He is believed to consider Serero’s electric attacking abilities as a possible solution to his woes at Craven Cottage, and could make a move for the Soweto born player during the January transfer window.
According to Sports Direct News, Serero- who has scored three goals in 12 appearances for Ajax this season, could be available for £5 million.
Serero has represented South Africa at every level since U17, and has long been considered one of the country’s most exciting talents.
His career is yet to blossom into full bloom in Holland however, and an eye-catching move to the English Premier League may be just what he needs to make his presence felt in European club football.
