David Moyes' career as manager of Manchester United got off to a shocking start as they went down 1-0 to the Singha All-Star XI in their first game of pre-season.
Moyes started with a fairly strong line-up, with Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Michael Carrick, Ryan Giggs and Danny Welbeck getting the nod.
The hosts had an early chance when skipper Winothai broke the offside trap but Evans made a brilliant recovering block to keep the game level.
Dangda went close with a shot in the 10th minute while United saw Adnan Januzaj volley well over after being played in by Fabio.
Welbeck failed to get the ball around the goalkeeper in the 29th minute while Januzaj sent a shot flying wide on the half-hour mark.
Ben Amos had to make a fantastic save in the 36th minute but the Singha All-Stars would give the home side something to cheer after the break when Winothai wrong-footed the goalkeeper.
Welbeck failed with two chances before Giggs, Tom Cleverly and Anderson made way for Wilfried Zaha, Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard.
Zaha almost had a great start to life with United but headed wide at the far post while Welbeck pulled a shot wide with nine minutes to go.
Zaha curled a shot against the post a minute later but the home side were able to see out the remaining minutes to secure a famous win over the Premier League champions.
