The first player expected to leave in the upcoming window is Arsenal star Mesut Ozil. The Germany international has been linked with Manchester United, FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, and is a free agent at the end of the current campaign.
Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is another who could leave in the coming weeks. The Gabon superstar is linked with Chelsea in the Premier League, and his club is reportedly willing to sell him following some unprofessional behaviour from the player.
England international Danny Rose is said to be close to joining Jose Mourinho's Manchester United. The Red Devils are in the market for an experienced left back, and apparently feel that Rose will give them the balance they are currently missing.
Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge is expected to leave the Reds in January in a bid to save his England career. The 28-year-old is currently not playing much, and may miss out on the FIFA World Cup in Russia if he does not get regular minutes on the pitch.
Southampton and Netherlands defender Virgil van Dijk may finally leave St Mary’s after months of speculation. Manchester City and Liverpool have been chasing him, but who knows where he may end up.
Watford's 20-year-old forward Richarlison may be a new addition to the Hornets' squad, but he could be on the way out already after a few scintillating performances. The Brazilian has caught the attention of a few clubs already, including Tottenham Hotspur and one in China.
