Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with Colombian World Cup star, Juan Cuadrado, but would have to beat FC Barcelona for his signature.
However, it is believed that Fiorentina are asking for at least £32 million for the 26-year-old as Louis van Gaal wants to bring at least one top-class winger to Old Trafford.
"At this moment, we have five No 9s and four No 10s – and we don't have wingers to give us attacking width," Van Gaal told English media.
"Or, I should say, we don't have wingers of the highest level, like (Cristiano) Ronaldo or (Angel) Di Maria or somebody like that.
"So, I have to play in another way – and you have seen that already. I only buy when I think we need to buy – in the position that is necessary."
United are also heavily linked with Arturo Vidal as well as Angel di Maria after Paris Saint-Germain confirmed the Real Madrid star was ‘too expensive’ for them.
