Liverpool are reportedly chasing AS Monaco striker, Radamel Falcao, and AC Milan forward, Mario Balotelli, as Brendan Rodgers is desperate to replace Luis Suarez.
The Reds are suggested to be ready to offer AS Monaco a stunning £12 million to sign Falcao on loan until the end of the season.
It is understood the Reds have been speaking to Falcao’s agent about a possible move to Anfield as reported by French radio station RMC.
Liverpool are reportedly offering an initial £12 million loan fee and are keen to insert a clause to sign the striker for £31 million next summer.
Other reports claim, Liverpool held ‘exploratory talks’ with AC Milan over the availability of Balotelli.
Milan chief executive, Adriano Galliano, said on Tuesday that Liverpool had not made on offer for the Italy forward, but ESPN claim the Reds are interested in bringing the 24-year-old to Anfield.
It is understood Liverpool are preparing a £17.6 million bid for Balotelli, while Milan are keen to get him off their wage bill.
Another option is Samuel Eto’o, who is a free agent and has been linked with a couple of clubs.
