An out-of-favour Real Madrid superstar, who has been linked with a move to the Premier League, has reportedly piqued the interest of LaLiga giants FC Barcelona.
Los Blancos playmaker Isco has endured a torrid time with the 13-time UEFA Champions League winners in the 2018/19 campaign so far, having featured only 15 times in LaLiga action for the club so far this season.
Having struggled for game time under coach Santiago Solari, Isco has been linked with an exit from the Santiago Bernabeu on a number of occasions this season, and the Catalan giants are the latest team to reportedly monitor the 26-year-old's situation in Madrid.
When quizzed on the possibility of Barca snapping up the former Valencia star, Blaugrana president Josep Maria Bartomeu hinted that the move could materialise if Isco wants to leave Los Blancos.
"If our coaches asked us for a player and they want to leave Madrid, of course we would sign them," he was quoted as saying by Sky Sports Asia.
"But it has not happened since I'm here. There are no non-aggression pacts. Each one tries to make their team more competitive.
"Isco? For the sake of Real Madrid, I would speak with the president of Real Madrid (Florentino Perez)."
The fleet-footed midfielder has had only five league starts for Real this season, and has come off the bench 10 times in LaLiga fixtures.
