Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly sent a warning to Jose Mourinho about raiding the club for two of their stars for next season.
The Portuguese has already secured a new job after he was sacked by Spurs last month, with the tactician set take to replace Paulo Fonseca at AS Roma.
Mourinho is reportedly already planning for the next campaign, and is said to have told the Serie A outfit to sign Spurs duo Eric Dier and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Hojbjerg was one of Mourinho's first signings in north London this season and was a vital part of the first team along with Dier, who is one Spurs' first-choice central defenders.
However, the Lilywhites have now reportedly ruled out departures for the star duo.
"There is no way we would sell either of these players," a source told The Sun.
"Of course, the new manager would have the final say.
"But you cannot see who whoever comes in wanting to let them go either.
"Both are incredibly important members of the team and you cannot see that changing."
Spurs, with Ryan Mason in charge in the interim, will look to finish the Premier League season on a high as they currently sit in seventh spot, seven points adrift of fourth-placed Leicester City.
