Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos, has lauded the physical condition of his teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo, calling him 'the best in the world'.
Ronaldo returned to fitness after suffering from a recurring injury that has hampered his performances since early April and scored a brace in the UEFA Super Cup.
"We're not surprised by the shape Cristiano's in," Ramos told Marca.
He's the best in the world and when he's got that edge over the rest, it really shows."
Ramos insisted that the Super Cup triumph was important for the Los Blancos and Sevilla was a hard nut to crack.
"We must give this title the value it really has. Today is an important day for everyone associated with the club," he added.
"(It was) a very tough one against a Sevilla side that always make it very difficult because they put their heart and soul into it."
