According to reports, Sami Khedira’s time at Real Madrid is coming to an end and the German World Cup winner could be available for as little as £8 million.
Madrid are reportedly willing to accept an offer £8 million for 27-year-old midfielder, whose contract is set to expire next summer.
Fiorentina are currently favourites to land Khedira for a bargain price, because Madrid would rather receive a fee for him now than risk losing him for free next summer.
Premier League teams Arsenal and Chelsea may also look to re-join the race for his signature, but both clubs have been put off by Khedira’s wage demands. However, even with his quoted salary demands, Khedira would still represent incredible value for money if his transfer fee is really that low.
Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho would be excited by this prospective deal, and the addition of Khedira to either of their squads would see a huge boost to their title hopes for the upcoming Premier League season.
Khedira arrived at Real Madrid in the summer of 2010 from Stuttgart and has made 144 appearances for the club in all competitions. However he wasn't inlcuded in Carlo Ancelotti's squad for the UEFA Super Cup, which sparked rumors he may still leave this summer.
