Bafana Bafana striker Tokelo Rantie proved to be the match winner as he fired Malmo FF to a 2-1 win at home to Elfsborg on Monday night.
The South African, who previously turned out for Orlando Pirates in the Premier Soccer League, played for 90 minutes before coming off in stoppage time for Benhamin Fadi as the hosts saw out the win.
Jiloan Hamad had opened the scoring in the 24th minute only for Mohamed Bangura to equalise two minutes after the break.
A draw seemed to be on the cards but with 14 minutes to go Rantie rattled the back of the net to secure all three points for the home side.
