Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba says that he does not intend to copy anybody after he was compared to Frank Rijkaard.
Juve manager Antonio Conte said that the young Frenchman had reminded him of Rijkaard during their 4-0 win over Udinese, where the midfielder netted a double.
"I know who Rijkaard was in the game," he told reporters. "I do not know if I appear like him. I do not want to mimic anyone, I just want to improve and remain Paul Pogba."
The former Manchester United man also said that he was happy with his performance in the game, and said that he has to continue that form to secure a regular starting place.
"It was a beautiful evening for me, I scored two goals, and the first in particular was very nice, so I'm very happy," he said.
"I know though that I don't have to stay here, I have to keep playing this way and maybe even better.
"(Claudio) Marchisio and (Andre) Pirlo are big players so there is no problem if I have to go on the bench - I will go. If I have to play I'll play and I'll try to do my best."
