Barcelona forward Pedro believes that his side deserved to pick up all three points after Saturday’s 0-0 stalemate at Atletico Madrid.
Both teams put in a fiery performance but were unable to find the back of the net in their top of the table clash at the Vicente Calderon and Pedro is adamant that the current Spanish champions should have won the game.
"It was a very intense game," the 26-year-old told reporters after the stalemate.
"We created chances and I think we deserved a little bit more.”
"We're pleased because we went after the match from the first minute - we knew that we couldn't fail. We had chances to score, but we didn't manage to convert them.”
"The Vicente Calderon is a very difficult stadium to play in, the fans really get into the match and that helps Atletico so that's why this is an important point.”
"The coach is giving me opportunities and I feel good," he added when asked about his personal happiness at the club.”
