Brazilian club Corinthians have confirmed that they will sign Alexandre Pato from AC Milan, pending a medical.
The forward had revealed that he wanted a return to Brazil this month, and reports had claimed earlier on Thursday that a deal was close to being completed.
Negotiations between Corinthians and Milan vice president Adriano Galliani were completed and the former announced via its official website that Pato was set to join the club.
They have already posted pictures with the forward wearing a Corinthians jersey and claim that the 15 million euro move will be wrapped up in the next few days.
"Over the next few days Pato will undergo medical tests and sign the four-year contract. Corinthians have bought 100 per cent of the economic rights of Pato for €15m," said a statement.
The statement also confirmed in future sales, Corinthians are to gain 60 per cent of the rights and Pato would get 40 per cent.
