Brazil star Neymar admits that he is hoping to make history with Barcelona teammate Lionel Messi.
Neymar, who has long been considered one of the top young talents in world football, made his move to Europe this summer - choosing to leave Brazilian side Santos in favour of Barcelona.
The attacker starred in the recent FIFA Confederations Cup where he powered Brazil to the title and his partnership with four-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi has been a hot topic of discussion
Some have suggested that the two stars will not be able to play together while others believe that duo will be unplayable and propel Barca to even greater heights.
"(I hope it will) be a partnership to make history," the 21-year-old Neymar told reporters.
"We have everything for that to happen and it's an honour, a dream come true, to play alongside the best in the world and that is what persuaded me choose my European team."
"I had a great story with Santos, but now I have a new club, a new life and everything is focused on Barcelona."
